I enjoy being active! My current favorite activity is boxing. Just hitting a bag though, no people!

Teaching

I started teaching computer science as an undergrad student in 2015 and have loved it ever since!

I've taught in C++, C, python, and Java covering many topics including introductory computer science (loops, if-statements, functions, ect.), data structures, systems, and artificial intelligence.

Fall 2025 I am teaching CS 340

Curious about how I teach? Check out my CS 128 Live course materials!

If you are teaching virtually, check out my advice and techniques!

Research

My PhD research was about how to program computers to think like people.
